I don't remember my calves bugging me for to long, but I was essentially building up from ground zero with only 20 some miles a week (and sometimes less). The biggest concern is top of foot pain from generally doing to much to soon (foot stress fractures are no fun). Just keep it light and easy and you should be fine. Some lady at the gym last night was giving the treadmill a beating it didn't deserve with her vibrams (I can't imagine she will be lasting to long that way).
