So sad...today I was running on river bottom road and I saw a cute little black kitty.  Then right below him was a yellow kitty that had just been run over.  The poor kitty was still somewhat alive I think.  It was so gruesome I couldn't look at it or I was going to throw up.  I felt so bad for both kitties.

I was supposed to meet lyns, but there was no site of her. :(  I ran 6 and tried to get faster each mile.

avg pace 7.41

1st mile 8.22

last mile 7.04

So I did get faster :)  I'm a little bummed I didn't run the SF 1/2.  But I had a baptism to go to that morning so I couldn't have done it anyway.  And now I'm bummed I didn't do Onion days.  Alas such is life.  I'll probably put kamrie in the 1k race in Orem on the 19th.  And I'm still planning on the Save a Sister 10k in St George in October.

Oh, I'm with Kellie - the breakfast is worth every lost minute of sleep! If you're not afraid to be a glutton that is :) Sorry for such a crazy run - alone and then the tragedy! Glad the highlight was the pace - nice job girl!!!

I should have still come for the breakfast and pretended like I actually did run the race :)

I don't think anyone would've stopped you! There were TONS of left-overs and we all left about 10 pounds heavier I think.
