So I took 2nd place overall for the women in the FunRun4Kids 5k. And my time was 20:23. Tammy pushed Broc in the
stroller and came in at 25:35 and Chad came in at 21 didn't pay he
didn't :42. Chad was the 5th overall for men, but since he get
recorded. The
times do need to be adjusted slightly because we found out the race was
really 3.01 not 3.1. So Merri's time would have been about 20:59, Chad
was about 22:20 and Tammy was about 26 minutes. Still Excellent record
breaking times for all of us (well, not Tammy because of the stroller!)
And
I almost forgot the most important 2nd placer....Broc Bennett took 2nd
in the 3-4 year old 1/4 mile run! Way to go Broc! We are all so PROUD!
(Tammy:) Broc was ready for the track as soon as we got in the car. He
can't get enough of that RUNNER'S High! Sadly , though I didn't get any
very good shots of Broc running because a lady ran RIGHT in front of my
camera right as I was taking his pictures!!! He crossed the finish line
and I totally missed it, thank you lady!!! GRRR!!!
